MAN BULLDOZES HIS OWN HOME

Watch the video: Boston Review.

"Man Trys to Make Banks Think Twice About Foreclosure"

This man has fought a 10 YEAR BATTLE with his bank so he had had enough. While driving the bulldozer probably helped him vent some eviction rage, I know that BANKS COULD CARE LESS!

__________
As banks continue to take people's homes, what will the homelessness numbers end up being?!

My friend lost her home even AFTER she had a buyer to buy it for her!! The buyer was qualified with good credit. But the bank kept playing games with the paperwork. Her mortgage company played games with the buyer and guess who ended up owning it?! FANNIE MAE!
THAT is SICK!!

"AMERICA" ( my ass ) taking away our rights and our homes minute by minute.

Passive Occupy protesters take pepper spray blast

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) -- "Protesters sitting on the ground supporting the Occupy Wall Street movement on the campus of the University of California, Davis took a face full of pepper spray at close range from an officer in riot gear in an incident that was captured on cellphone video and spread virally across the Internet Saturday."

PLEASE READ THIS ARTICLE. I AM APPALLED & ALARMED AT COPS & THEIR SO-CALLED "REASONING" FOR USE OF PEPPER SPRAY WHEN PEOPLE ARE ACTING PEACEFULLY OR EVEN JUST MAKE A MOVEMENT -- AS ROLLING INTO A BALL.

MY COUNTRY MY FREEDOM MY PROTEST

I sent this to my whole email list ::

1. Video (end language may offend, but listen to the initial important points & comparisons, please)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoG9PmdGaT8&sns=em

2. Article w/ time frame:
_______

To all after watching and reading about Zuccotti Park: (& this is JUST ONE OF MANY #occupy cities, towns)

IF YOU BELIEVE THIS IS AMERICA...HOME OF FREEDOM OF SPEECH, RIGHT TO ASSEMBLE & PROTEST, THEN YOU ARE WRONG.

This is the protests of the 60s, Dr. King, Ghandi and any others you may think of... ALL for the RIGHTS OF " THE PEOPLE" ---and We ARE THESE PEOPLE.

The now concerted actions of each #occupy city's "running scared Mayors" and Judges in their pockets, and their police brigades with WEAPONS for use against the peaceful, weaponless, protesters is reprehensible to say the least.

Occupy WILL continue to grow as seen in past protest movements. We will not be stopped. Baby Boomers included. We've been there before.

Regards,
Gara

I must agree, especially here in MS and the backwoods / backwards SOUTH in general!
It is indeed a sad situation.

TAR SANDS = ENVIRONMENTAL DISASTER

Encircling the White House

From 350.org and Phil Aroneanu

"The campaign to stop the tar sands pipeline is now coming down to the wire -- President Obama has said that he will make a decision on the pipeline before the year is out. So we're planning something audacious on November 6th, exactly one year before the election. On that autumn day, thousands of people will converge on Washington DC to try something completely new."

We're trying something different in the fight to stop the tar sands pipeline.

On November 6th in Washington DC, we're going to encircle the White House with people and send a powerful message to President Obama.

Can you join us?

Yes, I'll join in DC on Nov 6th!

I can't go to DC but I'll support it however I can.

Congressional Reform Act of 2011

This is an email that I received today from a friend. I forwarded it on to approximately 35 people. Perhaps we *can* make a difference, because the system as it has been MUST BE FIXED!! NOW!!

The 26th amendment
(granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds) took only 3 months & 8 days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971...before computers, before e-mail, before cell phones, etc.

Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took 1 year or less to become the law of the land...all because of public pressure.
___________________________

I'm asking each addressee to forward this email to a minimum of twenty people on their address list; in turn ask each of those to do likewise.

In three days, most people in The  United States of America will have the message. This is one idea that really should be passed around.

Congressional Reform Act of 2011

1. No Tenure / No Pension.

A Congressman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they are out of office.

2. Congress (past, present & future) participates in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.

3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.

4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.

5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.

6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.

7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen are void effective 1/1/12.

___________________________
The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen. Congressmen made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and back to work.
___________________________

If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people then it will only take three days for most people (in the U.S. ) to receive the message. Maybe it is time.

THIS IS HOW YOU FIX CONGRESS!!!!!

If you agree with the above.... copy this and
pass it on!

iPHONE WAITING . . . RESPOND . . . PLEASE

Always, we are in some various state of waiting, but never so much as the tech age has laid upon us. We wait for:

Text responses

Twitter @ replies / comments to carry on the least little hint of a virtual "conversation"

Facebook status updates and notifications to whatever it was we said or responses to a photograph we posted

Email to us from people we actually know

and so

. . . the weight of the wait . . . ticks by
as we keep checking. . . just to see. . .
that mostly, no one gives a crap!

I was relieved to read about this phenomenon, as i have felt a lot of these "Internet emotions" at various times. It's an interesting and yet hilarious bit on the underlying psychology of social media.
